The farm is in a rural home, where vegetables, berries and fruits are cultivated.
Here your children can play on slides and swings in our garden or have fun with our pets: the two kids Bianchina and Rosina, the dumb ducks and some hens. The latter make the eggs that we use to cook our typical tagliatelle, tortelli and our cakes.
Our pets will welcome you: our dogs are the big Flic, which eats really a lot, and Billi which is really active although is far smaller than Flic. There is a strong friendship between them, even if sometimes they prefer staying alone. Resistenza is the new entry, a nice 16-months old female donkey. She’s a gift for our 25years of marriage, a weird gift isn’t it? Now we have to cope with her liveliness, which isn’t an easy task at all!
Our dishes come from the traditional cuisine of Emilia Romagna, for example: typical cold meat of the place, gnocco fritto ( a peculiar kind of salted fritter), pappardelle with boar meat sauce, tortelli filled with potatoes and dressed with butter and spices, tagliatelle with bolognese sauce, boar meat with “polenta”, different kind of roasts, grilled meats and vegetables in season, ect... served with Emilian wines. There are also apple pies and cakes. We are pleased to organise business lunchs and dinners, lunchs for baptisms or holy parties, but also for different special festivities all year around, like New Year’s Eve, Saint Valentine, Easter and so on. One of the most important recurrences is the county fair of the black truffle from Fragno, which is held every year from the second half of October till the first 2 weeks of November.
